The old shop where I used to work as a young mechanic in the early 90’s has been dealing exclusively with BAP, and when I started my own small repair shop in 2009, I did not hestitate to do the same. BAP’s old tradition was to help its clientels in every possible way they can. BAP helped me financed some of the new and modern equipments we currently have in my shop. Then, BAP even became more capable by becoming partners with NAPA!
New things will never change good old ways of BAP, they still keep their “old tradition” of helping out small shop like mine. Please keep up the good work and thank you, BAP/NAPA!

I was hired by Mort right out of high school back in July of 1980 and worked for BAP for 11 years as a mechanic (before they were called technicians).

Back in the day there were 6 of us in the shop on the floor and 2 radmen in the radshop.

In 1991 I had an opportunity to move on to a City of Hamilton Garage and after discussions with Mort and Steve I made that move. The City garage I am at still has a great relationship with BAP (now affiliated with NAPA) and has been a major parts supplier to this shop for well over 40 years providing excellent service (you place your order, hang up the phone and they are at your door!).

As I look back on my 40 years in the automotive industry, I want to take a moment to thank the Krieger family for giving me an opportunity to enter this field back in 1980!
